We spoke to GAZZMAN today in regards to the controversy surrounding the MUSIC VIDEO that was released for "SOS PRODUCTEURS". This is what he told me.
GAZZMAN: "I spent 9 years with a band, and when I left, I DID NOT ASK FOR 1 SINGLE DOLLAR. I left my shares; and all I did is leave with MY REASON/CONSCIENCE. MALE AVEK REZON MWEN."
GAZZMAN continues "I sing on the song and I do a music video; for ARLY to have the nerve to say "KOTE KREDI MWEN"? For ARLY to have the nerve to say where is his credit on the song? That shows you that he is SELFISH. (Egoiste).
GAZZMAN continues "I can do anything I want if there's anything that has to do with NU LOOK; especially after 9 years. I COULD DO A MUSIC VIDEO FOR "NOTRE HISTOIRE" If I want to; and I could act in it if I choose to. No one would be able to tell me a damn thing. For the video, when I invited TI PAPI and RALPH CONDE to be part of it; they did not show up. I left RORO and ALIX in the video; even though the shots of Alix were not too good; but I DID NOT ERASE ANYTHING FROM THE VIDEO SHOOT WITH THE NU LOOK GUYS THAT WERE THERE. All I did was put MY DISIP LOGO at the beginning of the video; and in the credits we said STARRING GAZZMAN COULEUR. Poukisa tout plinyin sa yo? I would think that Arly can complain about girls/ladies (Ka plinyin pou fanm)...BUT NOT FOR CREDIT?"
GAZZMAN concludes "I left and I did not ask for my shares. I did not ask for a penny. What exactly is the problem?"

GAZZMAN "NRMAN and I talk all the time. Sometimes we don't even talk about DISIP/NU LOOK business. In regards to the "SA NU LOOK TE JANM FE POU OU" issue; THAT IS NOT TRUE. I would never say that because NORMAN is a gigger in NU LOOK; and he got paid every time after he did a gig. NORMAN played 3/4 songs on the DISIP CD; and he is very good. Yes; I did try to recruit him in the group; but that was way before we settled on SEXY BEEF as our bass player. Like I said NORMAN plays on our CD. We also called ALIX NOZILE to play on it; unfortunately he never returned our call; which I understand."

GENTLEMAN1's post prompted me to call 5 ETWAL maestro TI LUNET to ask him if indeed "LI CONVERTI" to a DISIP. This is what he told me.

TI LUNET "No, not at all. My friend TI BLANC (Disip management), asked me to come see him so we could discuss something that had nothing to do with DISIP; so I went to meet him, and it happened to be at DISIP rehearsal. That's when he decided to take a picture via camera phone, and proceeded to send it to everybody. He is a good friend of mine; what can I say."

TI LUNET "YES, DISIP did ask me BEFORE, to join them, and I explained to them that I was the maestro of my own band/business, therefore I would not be able to join them."

When we asked him if he had been offered to become an OWNER of the band, would he have changed his mind, his response to me was "They could have made me the PRESIDENT OF DISIP, the answer would still have been the same. No disrespect intended; it's just that I am happy as the maestro/owner of my business and group 5 Etwal. We have nothing against Disip."
